Vintage Barbie #3 Ponytail Doll Restored Blonde - OOAK Fashion

A beautiful vintage #3 Ponytail Barbie, thoughtfully restored and styled for display.

This lovely doll has one of the classic early Barbie faces I adore so much, with her original vintage character preserved while giving her a fresh, polished presentation. Her bangs had significant loss, so they were carefully restored using vintage donor hair chosen to blend naturally with her existing hair. The goal was not to make her look brand new, but to restore what was missing while keeping the wonderful character of an authentic vintage doll. Her face paint is about 95% original, only the eyelids were touched up for the missing paint, and her blush was restored. See last photo for before and after. 

She has been cleaned, styled, and dressed in a coordinated vintage-inspired ensemble patterned after Cotton Separates, and made by me, Ginger, featuring a fitted navy top, full dark red floral skirt, hat, pearl necklace, bracelet, clutch made from vintage Barbie vinyl, and reproduction shoes.

Her restored bangs have been shaped to complement the original ponytail style and give her back that unmistakable early Barbie silhouette.

As with all vintage dolls, she may retain normal signs of age, including minor marks and uneven fading, handling, or previous ownership. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.

This doll is ideal for the collector who appreciates vintage Barbie with history, character, and careful restoration rather than untouched perfection. Smoke free home.
