Citrus Cotton Casual | Vintage Blonde Second Issue Bubblecut Barbie

Meet Citrus Cotton Casual, a beautiful vintage blonde second issue Bubblecut Barbie dressed in my own cheerful interpretation of the classic Cotton Casual fashion.

Instead of the familiar blue stripe, her handmade strapless dress features delicate pink, orange, and white stripes, accented with layered pink and orange waist ties and tiny bows. Her bright, summery ensemble is completed with white gloves, pearl earrings, a pearl necklace and bracelet, a vivid pink clutch made with vintage Barbie vinyl salvaged from a vintage Barbie case, white vintage Japan open toe shoes, and pink cat-eye glasses. The open toe shoes were split, so they were repaired and added teeny pink flowers to match her outfit over the split repair.

This lovely Bubblecut is in very good vintage condition overall. Her only noted flaws are one small ink dot on an arm and a few extra pinpricks in one ear. These minor imperfections are very small and do not detract from her beautiful display.
