On the first golden Saturday of autumn, Orchard Lane is alive with music, laughter, and the scent of freshly baked apple pie. Baskets overflow with bright red apples, bunting flutters between the trees, and a blue ribbon waits beside the winning pie.

For the Cottage Apple Festival, she has chosen a sunny yellow blouse scattered with tiny apples and cheerful white blossoms. A sweeping apple-red skirt gives her the perfect silhouette for greeting visitors beneath the festival tents, while an emerald-green belt brings the entire autumn palette together.

And because no festival hostess settles for only one look, her handmade wardrobe includes three coordinating separates. She can exchange her full red skirt for a tailored green skirt or slip into fitted red trousers for an afternoon stroll through the orchard.

Apple Festival at the Cottage began as a genuine African American Silkstone Barbie and has been completely transformed by me, Ginger. Her original factory paint was removed and her face was fully repainted by hand, giving her expressive green eyes, softly blushed cheeks, and beautifully detailed lips. Her hair was carefully restyled into vintage updo with curled bangs and finished with a matching apple-print bow.

Her ensemble is completed with red gloves, pearl jewelry, a tiny green belt, and red peep-toe heels adorned with yellow bows.
